New artwork for Melksham Community Campus!

Went today to the opening of my freshly installed artwork on the walls of the new leisure centre in Melksham.

I designed the artwork following creative workshops at the centre last year. We focussed on local features relevant to the people that live nearby and use the centre. I developed a visual language incorporating these themes with active movement using the colours that were already found in the space.

Was so great to see this in real life, having outsourced the application of the artwork using vinyl, it was my first experience creating a mural in this way and I was really pleased with the result. Read more about the project here.
