‘Yes I Can’ Kinetic Sculpture, National Football Museum, Manchester 2024.

Commissioned to make an artwork for a new exhibition titled ‘Markers’ alongside 9 other urban artists to celebrate their hero in the football world. I made my first kinetic sculpture, working alongside a fabricator to achieve my vision. The artwork was made out of wood, laser cut plastic shapes, hand made barrier / mechanism. Insightful and valuable experience working with new materials, making them move and working with the challenges that come up along the way. Confidently hopeful to move more in to the direction of sculptural artworks in my future practice.
