This public art project is being delivered as one of the activities under the City Centre and High Streets Recovery and Renewal programme, funded by Bristol City Council and the West of England Combined Authority’s Love our High Streets project.

Billy will be painting this wall outside the library.

As part of the commission to create the mural, Alex Godwin a.k.a Billy Colours has been running engagement sessions with local community groups, to get as much input from local people to inform the designs for the mural. These creative sessions took place in the library.

Come and share your ideas!!

The Friends of Horfield Library have already carried out engagement, asking local people what they would like to see within the new painting. There was a strong preference for local wildlife.

Billy designed some resources to use in her sessions to tell people about the project and inspire them to share their creative input.
